What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device. They let a site remember things between clicks — that there is a hoodie in your cart, that you are signed in, that you already told us what you think about analytics. Similar technologies such as local storage and pixels do the same job, and this policy covers those too.
The cookies we use
Essential
Always onKeep your cart, your login and the checkout working, and remember your cookie choice itself. The store cannot function without them, so they do not require consent.
Examples: Cart session, checkout state, consent record (amboras_consent), security tokens.
Analytics
Only with your consentTell us how many people visited, which pages they read and where they gave up, in aggregate. This is how we know the size guide needed rewriting.
Examples: Page views, session duration, device type, referral source.
Marketing
Only with your consentLet us measure which ads actually brought parents to the store, and avoid showing you ads for a hoodie you already bought.
Examples: Conversion tracking, audience tags set by advertising partners.
Preferences
Only with your consentRemember small choices so you do not repeat them — things like a dismissed banner or the colour you were last looking at.
Examples: Dismissed notices, recently viewed items.
Third-party cookies
Some cookies are set by the services that make the store work rather than by us directly:
- Our payment processor, to keep checkout secure and detect fraudulent payments.
- Our analytics provider, to count visits and measure which pages help.
- Advertising partners, where you allowed marketing cookies, to measure ad performance.
These partners only receive what they need for that purpose. Who they are and what they do with data is covered in our Privacy Policy.
How to control cookies
- Use the Manage Cookies link in the footer of every page, or the button at the top of this page. Your choice is saved for 12 months and you can change it as often as you like.
- Reject non-essential cookies and analytics and marketing scripts simply never load — nothing else about the store changes.
- Your browser settings can also block or delete cookies for any site. Blocking essential cookies will break the cart and checkout.
- Clearing your browser data removes your saved choice, so the banner will ask again on your next visit.
